First-time volunteering

Thank you so much for volunteering at the tool library!

Before arriving

If you get a chance, create an account on our inventory management system MyTurn. (You can also do this once you arrive for your shift, doing it beforehand will just speed up your onboarding.)

Attire

Wear close-toed shoes, and avoid dangly hair and clothing. You'll be working near heavy objects and power tools, so helps to be careful!

Location

We're at 1552 Crawford Pl, Seattle, WA 98122, halfway down the Crawford Place alleyway between Pike and Pine in Capitol Hill.

There's plenty of public transportation routes nearby. Or if you bike in, you can store your bike safely inside during your shift. On Sundays, Capitol Hill has free street parking.
