Organizational Commitment

As a working board, members should actively participate in the organization.

Meeting Attendance

Board members are expected to participate in all our monthly community meetings.

1. Hybrid: While meetings will generally be hybrid, in-person attendance is encouraged.
2. Preparation: Board members should generally arrive prepared, including having reviewed and being ready to discuss the agenda and any linked materials sent in advance of the meeting.
3. Participation: Board members are expected to give informed input on community meeting proposals (beyond just voting on them), either via Google Docs comments prior to the meeting or in-person.

Meeting Absences

While board members are expected to prioritize meeting attendance, they may need to miss a meeting on rare occasions.

1. Number of unexcused absences: Board members should not be absent without excuse from more than three community meetings each calendar year.
2. Continuity: Board members are expected to review meeting notes for any missed meetings.
